Quality in Careers Standard Award
The Prospect Trust Careers Services Department are applying for reassessment for the Quality in Careers Standard Award. The College in its commitment to provide excellent Careers Education Information, Advice and Guidance to all its students will be applying to renew its Quality in Career Standards award for the fifth time, June 2021.
What is the Quality in Careers Standard Award, and why should we have it?
Successful achievement of the award demonstrates we are providing excellent careers education, information, advice and guidance for all our students. It demonstrates how the College is meeting its duty in ensuring all students are well-prepared for the next stage of their plans, whether its education, training and /or employment. It will raise standards required in delivering excellent Careers Education, Information Advice and Guidance across the College and within all curriculum areas. The award focuses on provision of high quality careers education and the delivery of careers focused information advice and Guidance underpinned by the Gatsby Benchmarks and the Career Development Institute. Achievement of the award places high value on work related learning and development of employability skills required to ensure our students are ready to enter the world of work as part of their progression plans.
