Academy Quality Councils
The Academy Quality Councils (AQC) comprise volunteers appointed or elected to act as a direct link between the Academy and the Trust Board.
Councillors scrutinise the quality of the curriculum, performance and results. Their role is to challenge and act as critical friends, helping to determine the future strategic direction of each Academy in the Trust.
The Principal and senior leadership team of each Academy are held to account for management decisions including student and staff welfare, curriculum and outcomes.
