The Prospect Trust

Governance

Our Board of Trustees are the legal governing body for all Prospect Trust Academies.  They provide support and challenge to the Trust Executive Team; work to ensure the Trust retains clarity of vision and strategy; and are ultimately responsible for the Academies within the Trust and for the funds granted by the government for providing education.  The Trust Board delegates many of its local governance functions to Academy Quality Councils (AQCs).  Parents, staff and representatives from the local community form these local governing bodies and Councillors are appointed to ensure a full range of skills, competencies and experience across the Trust.  The Scheme of Delegation sets out roles and responsibilities within the Trust.
