The Prospect Trust

Developing education

excellence in the community

Our Academies

Currently our Academies are Tomlinscote School and Sixth Form College Farnborough, the links to which you will find below.  The mission of the Trust is to create a local family of academies working across age ranges - from 5 to 19.  In support of this, since last year we have been in extensive talks with a local junior school - Frimley Church of England Junior School - about joining us.

We are pleased to say that the proposal, which carries the unanimous positive support of many including the School's Governing Body, Clare Wright the Headteacher and her SLT and of course our own Board of Trustees, has been given approval in principle by the Diocese in Guildford. The next steps are underway and these include a period of due diligence and consultation with staff and parents.

This is a really exciting development for the Trust.  Frimley is a key feeder to Tomlinscote School: this move would accelerate our ability to really do something tangible about reducing the cliff edges between transition phases and creating educational coherence for children (parents and teachers too of course) in the community we jointly deserve.  All being well, the School would join the Trust in January 2021.

Tomlinscote is a highly successful school that is very popular with families and their children who make excellent progress, whatever their starting points. Our community is committed to providing a happy and caring environment in which each student is able to realise his or her potential.
